The PV101-10KV network surge protector is specifically designed to meet the surge protection requirements of digital network signals. It is suitable for precise overvoltage protection of monitoring systems integrating multiplexed computer network signals, hubs, network cards, network switches, modems, fax machines, and data communication equipment, protecting them from damage caused by induced overvoltage, operating overvoltage, and electrostatic discharge; it features multi-level protection, high current carrying capacity, low limiting voltage, fast response time, low insertion loss, and high transmission rate.
Working Principle
The surge protector is connected in series to the front end of the protected equipment. When the transmission line is subjected to induced lightning and other transient overvoltage surges, the surge current passes through the protective branch of the surge protector and is discharged to the ground, clamping the output voltage within the allowable voltage range of the equipment, thus ensuring the safe operation of the equipment.
