S4208-8P This is a new generation of full gigabit PoE switch series independently developed by Shenzhen Hi-Net Technology Co., Ltd., targeting IP metropolitan area networks and enterprise networks, meeting the needs of Ethernet multi-service carrying and various Ethernet access. It can provide users with rich and flexible service features, effectively improving the operability, manageability, and business expansion capabilities of the product, and has excellent lightning protection capabilities and security features. It also supports complete PoE (Power Over Ethernet) functions, which can provide 48V DC power to remote PD devices (such as IP Phone, WLAN AP, Security, Bluetooth AP, etc.) through network cables, realizing remote power supply to downstream PD devices. As a power supply PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) device, it supports IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at power supply standards, supports PoE management, and users can flexibly configure whether the PoE port is powered.

● Non-blocking data exchange
It has a switching capacity of up to 40Gbps and a Layer 2/Layer 3 forwarding capability of 29.76Mpps.
● Supports jumbo frame transmission
Supports jumbo frames up to 16KByte, improving data transmission efficiency and speed, and enhancing network throughput.
● DHCP Function
Supports DHCP Server and DHCP snooping functions, so it can also be used in the aggregation layer of larger networks with multiple subnets.
● Multicast function
Supports IGMP v1 v2 v3 and IGMP Snooping multicast routing protocols
● ARP Security control features
Supports manual binding of IP address and MAC address
It can also automatically bind according to the address range and can achieve ARP locking.
● ACL Features
Supports port ACL filtering, providing IP standard ACL and IP extended ACL.
● Multi-layer loop protection technology
Supports STP, RSTP, MSTP protocols, has redundant features for Layer 2 links, and the failover time of the primary and secondary links is less than 1 second (50ms)
● Manageability
Supports multiple management methods such as CLI, Telnet, SNMP, and WEB
Built-in various SNMP network management: Bridge MIB, MIBII, Entity MIB v2, RMON MIB and Proprietary MIB
